Blip: Lightyears from Home
Hospitals United For Sick Kids raise funds to get sick kids home from hospital sooner. To represent the arduous journey these kids go through to get home, we created an animated short film that told the story of Blip - a misplaced creature from outer space overcoming obstacles to get back to their home planet.
MORE THAN METAPHOR
Blip also appeared on products nationwide that contribute money from every sale to get sick kids home from hospital sooner. If someone sees Blip in store, they know the sale of that product will contribute funds to help sick kids get back to the things they miss.
MERCHANDISE
Our character also opened up additional revenue streams for Hospitals United for Sick Kids through merchandising opportunities like plush toys (the wash tag encourages parents to wash it first, so it smells like home for their child).
